Zgeek.com is gone??

Looks like zgeek is gone. All I got only this. Zgeek site are among my favourite sites for breakfast alongside boingboing, slashdot, make etc. And now it's gone. When it will be back??

Ask Pirate.

Update!! Just read on what Pirate says:

"W00t! It lives. Last night we got pwnd by some cunt who used an exploit in the old gallery system to kill some important stuff. The result was a dead HDD and a lot of down time. I swear, whoever that little fag was. If I ever find out who they are, the last thing they will ever remember is me arranging their intestines around their neck in a decorative fashion.."

Read more on zgeek.

For Sale!!

Ok. This thing for sale now. The price for the KORG PXR4 will be circa MYR 1500 (negotiable). First time I bought it new, direct from USA through Ebay when it first come out and now I owned it about 4-5 years already and managed to create 2 short songs (only??) using 16MB SD Card which come with the box (before I upgrading the card to 128MB SD Card which will be given free to successful buyer because I had lost the 16MB SD Card). Everything is still in place (boxed, owner manual, SD card, original leather case, the machine itself & power supply) except for 16 mb SD Card. The condition is still good because I rarely use it now and then, and since I will get busy with many things later on, I decided to sell it now so that I can use the profit to fund another pet-project of mine which will come anytime soon.

I try to find KORG PXR4 in Malaysian market (mostly in KL & Klang Valley) (to compare price) but it is hard to find, maybe because I'm looking at the wrong place or maybe it is not in Malaysian market at all. If anyone know, please tell me. I will also sold this through lelong website soon after I get to know lelong website operations well enough.

You can hear the songs through streaming (Quicktime by default) or just download it here, above ZarxChatterBox by right-clicking it and save as to your preferred folder.

I welcome any interested buyer and you can contact me through comment here in this blog and leave your e-mail as well or just mail me directly.

Be quick before somebody else start to bid it later!!

Multi Media Synergy Corporation Web Server Hacked??

p/s The print screen made on 16/07/2006 at 8:24 p.m

I am searching for technical job vacancies listed on MSC link and when I try to browse the mmsc website and look here, has been hacked by hacker. I wonder when does that happen and does anybody inside the company know yet? What about the System Administrator? Sleeping? Why the hell the hacked index.php page still in the system? To show to the world that the Malaysian System Administrator incapable in doing his/her job? Better gimme the job to me then if he/she cannot defend the server that he/she responsible to take care of. Bah!

Update!! Date in zone-h web defacement website show that the defacement made by MEFISTO on 15/7/2006 and looks like a mass defacement attempt by MEFISTO.

Nightmare for any Sys Admin to see their beloved system has been trashed properly by an intruder. In this case, not so severely although a bit humiliating.

Oi Sys Admin!!, wake up!!. Smell the deface shit. And fix them. He He.. Dont forget to patch those holes as well. Or else I will find out your name and post it in my blog and you'll become famous!! HaR Har HAr hAR!!

Update Again!! Clicking Enter on their website will redirect to SERVER ERROR 404, not the hacked index.php anymore, Not long after I post the first edition of this blog.

Again Update?? As I keep playing with mmsc website after, I realised that someone the back (maybe the Sys Admin?? or the Black Hat people??)playing with the website php configuration because When I click ENTER again(or just click at the PICTURE above ENTER button,it redirects to the index.php again, hence show the hacked page AGAIN??

Oh well.. give 'em the time to fix.

Last update!! As I was checking again their website today at 17/07/2006, I found out that their index.php restored again and no MEFISTO page again. Always keep the holes closed, boy. You never know what things that will try to enter it again.. he he.

Fyi, I sent an email to the Managing Director of that company informing about their website this morning about 3-4 a.m but I guess he just an old man with obsolete primitive technology mind, otherwise he will be appreciate what I try to tell them and at least replying and say THANKS!! Ppl..

Alternative for Scarpar!!

This is much better than Scarpar, I guess in some way. Lightweight makes it portable, equipped with powerful engine?? (20mph) quite fast with that kind of board. See the video here. Truly rocks!!

From here, the cheapest one cost about USD 419.00 + USD 40.00 for p&p makes it USD 459.00. Converted to MYR using XE equal to MYR 1683.45 for a board with little engine and also one controller.

But then again, from the video. No flip tricks again. I guess these guys dont want to break their cool toys (I guess I'll do the same).

Ciou.Gonna go home soon.

Know Your Rights!! Survive the bloody System!!

Yeah. Wtf I am blabbering right now. I just watch an American civil right liberties watch group or organisation clip about how to exercise your right (or should I say rules of engagement) when you had been challenged by authorities officer.

The clip duration is 45 minutes (takes me few hours to finish downloading it) but I think it might worth it when it comes to save you butt later on. Cos you will never know...

The clip coming from flexyourrights group which is reside here.

Watch the clip below:

But then, that was in USA. what about Malaysia. Unfortunately we dont have strong civil liberties watch group or organisation that make 'local-content' videos on how to exercise your rights in Malaysia. However there are book for this which you can download from here. The Red Book from Malaysian Bar Associations. The rules of engagement with the authorities contained in the Red Book mostly are the same with the one shown in the clip with a little bit differences. Read on. You never know when you will need it.
I know I will.

WTF Zidane??

out juste Materazzi de tête de Zidane de montre.. he he.

Mise à jour ! ! Et plus tard celui-ci. (Merci kechique!!)

YARR!! Har hAR!!

p/s: I dedicate this blog to my French buddies who worked together with me long time ago in CodeStorm Plc during somewhere this time (summer) circa 2000-2001. Vincent Falquero (Vince), Raphael Guilbert (Ralph), F. Amerand, not forgetting Beatrice Noel (Bee) as our favourite beautiful supervisor and the rest that I forgot their name, sorry. My sympathy goes for you guys for the loss of the World Cup. Like Bee used to say to me before, "C'est la vie".
Ciou.

Dumbest Coolest Song!!

From Indonesia. Jamrud. It's a band. Not a place called Jamrud. I particularly like one song from this band,Surti & Tejo. First time I heard it from friend mobile phone, then look for the video clip on Internet. GoogleVideo doesnt reveal anything while YouTube shows some search results here. Although some of the f*** words has been censored, and lyric that sound simple stupid but true in real-life experience for some people, with nice beebop 50's tunes, it still fun to watch and listen to.

Fyi, the song in Java language. Also the subtitles. I can understand a bit cos I'm not fluent in my own tribe language still but I think others my friend at my hometown can understand the lyrics more than I do.

Funny video. Shows the creativity from that part of region.
Watch Surti & Tijo making out in paddy field.. He He

Pirates Strike Back!!
"You would'nt?" said MPAA.

Just have a look of what I've found.Yes.Here. Media retaliation between ordinary human against big gun organisation. Kinda cool when I had watch both the MPAA anti-piracy video and the parody of it.

watch MPAA anti-piracy video here.
And the parody (Abuse of Power) below:

Yarr!! All this things just give me an idea to compile my own video based on what we in Malaysia called 'local content'. Based on local current situation in Malaysia. To show who is the real pirates are here in our beloved country. That's it. Heh. Like I got the time. He he. -end-

10 Ways to Tweak Your Tech CV

I'm in the middle of reworking, updating and beautifying my curriculum vitae for my NSA interview when I found this resume tippos from eweek column. Looks good enough to be put here as my references in the future. The key to get your cv accepted is to understand how the ATS (Applicant Tracking System) works, what are the prequisite rules and keywords used to filter thousand of cvs and benefit from there. As this system is software-based applications (which has been clearly described in wikipedia), there are possibilities that it can be exploited to certain degree as well (I just guessing without doing any further research to back my claim). Third-party recruiter regularly used this system to seek potential employees (No wonder nobody reply anything about my Shell application.. damnit). Never knew such system is used before but then now I know, and you know too!!

Check those tips out here.

Dang.. now I have to rebuild my cv again??
