What's the big deal about waving the flag??

Been busy lately. With the t-shirt project on hold now so that I can focus over Linux training manual that I write from scratch for some government entity (dunno if I ever got the job or not. I hope I will get it cos I realised I just totally dead broke right now. Just be ready). Even I dont have time to relist my item in LELONG and continue on my toilet flush modding and also repairing my sp1mp3 mp3 player (bad firmware flash. Stupid enough for me not to look at the serial number first before flashing firmware). Hell busy yeah.

And also I want to say Happy Independence Day to all Malaysian here in mother land and also oversea. Not the time yet but hell I like to do it now. For quite some time our country has not been invaded by foreign army. Maybe some foreign policy, also many foreign immigrant flooding our country looking for better life and other foreign thing maybe. I dont mind. But I do mind those companies who dont have community service spirit in taking local employee but instead taking those cheap labour immigrant just because they are cheap and hardworking. Hell dont I know that. I know how those immigrant feel, being immigrant myself during study oversea, and taking rubbish job that promised wages that just happen to be a little above the minimum wages which no local people want to take the job except the students and other asylum seekers. It is supposed to be the time our country Malaysia have a minimum wages policy and regulations.
NOW.

Look what happen now. Crime everywhere. Lots of citizen with tight budget as the items prices go up while the wages or salary never go up. It really burden the citizen, you governmies bastard. Dont they know that? Do you still want to keep old regulations because the biggest tax-payer (the private sector) tend not to agreed with minimum wages, therefore you make the citizen suffer to satisfy gredy multi corporate keparat cronies company? Or do you guys want to keep the labour pay to the minimum in order to attract foreign investor while the same time make the citizen suffering to fill the governmies coffer?

Fuck. Why do the citizen have to suffer for you guys? There are no wonder people are not taking seriously your order (stated on many newspaper and internet) to wave the Malaysian flag. Because you guys not listening to the citizens, therefore why should citizens listen to you guys? You guys dictate order, policy, regulations with lame reasoning that all those been done to the best interest of the citizen. Damn. How do they know what they've done is the best for me? You not even asking me? and perhaps other people? When citizen ranting the cry out, you accuse them as the opposition, those people who dont know to be grateful to them, those people who dont know how to say thanks to them for the great 'jobs' they've done so far while remaining in power over citizen. The so-called 'democracy'. I am not opposition, never involve in any political party group. Never in my life voting in Malaysia (I have my own reason). Just a citizen who longing for better living like he have experience while in oversea (eventhough doing shit job). Therefore I shouted out.

I remember when talking to my father about hanging Malaysian flag outside the house for Malaysian Independence Day last year and my father decline my request. He ask me, what for? Is hanging, waving the flag once a year can be considered patriotic? Knowing full history of my father who fight over Japanese Occupation in World War II and also involved in Malayan Emergency during Communist era and quit a year after Malaya gained full independence from British (therefore not eligible to get pension from ATM now and ever as ATM does not exist yet that time when my father called it quit. From my understanding, he is working with British government, and not the newly established Malaysian government at that time), I do understand his point. From my view, I see that the government themselves who are not patriotic to the country and citizen that they rules over. My father was a patriot in his own time. Many of his friend died during the war or die old. And all his lives, he never get any help from government (as ex-patriot) to raise his 11 son and daughter (because he not eligible for Malaysian pension) just because he not working with Malaysian government instead British government (at that time). The only thing he got from government is RM 1000 given to war veteran to ease their hard life. RM 1000 for 1 time only in your one-time life on this earth? How cheap their sacrifice, their blood compared to easy living government now sucking money off citizen. Even I laughed when I heard my father story. RM 1000 is nothing, governmies. These veteran should be given pension at least for their contribution to the country and be celebrate, and not be ignored after giving them RM1K to 'live their life'.

Now I know where I got this patriotic feeling from.

I think I want to watch Braveheart now. They should put Braveheart movie for this Independence Day matinee now. It can raise some patriotism somehow. And also raise the issues of bureaucracy and corrupt leaders as well within the movie. Should be good for watch and learn. I wonder if they will consider my undangerously suggestion...

Happy Independence Day.
